Meet the Author
R. S. Markel
R. S. Markel is the author and illustrator of three Lillybeth and Hinsberth novels. An insatiably curious character, he is also a coauthor on seven academic publications spanning three different disciplines. On the approach of his avid book-loving daughter’s sixth birthday he rediscovered his passion for writing and illustrating. His daughter so enjoyed the stories he created to entertain her and the endless piles of books gathered from frequent trips to the local library that he decided to write a short story with a meaningful message to present to her as a special gift…
